As the sun sinks low and the daylight dims, Winter descends on the Heartland
with all its magical beauty. The folks of Heartdale falls welcome the time
between Thanksgiving and the New Year as a chance to come together to revel

THE OH SO SUSTAINABLE
CHRISTMAS TREE
It's the same problem every year, just where to find that perfect Christmas Tree?
Daddy B.B. insists on looking at that lot next to the Legion Hall. I don't know
Daddy B.B., that one doesn't look so great....Red is not so sure either.
H.Lo goes to one of those 'alternative' schools where she noticed a posting
in her Sustainable Agriculture class for an Organic Tree Farm right here
in Heartdale Falls, and if you buy a tree they give you a sapling to plant there in the Spring!
No gas powered ATV's on this farm. It's all Daddy B.B. power.
With the tree tied down they ride home. It takes exactly the time to sing the
entire 'Twelve Days of Christmas' to reach their house.
Everybody chooses their favorite ornament to decorate the tree, but its
not until Daddy B.B. puts the star on the top of the tree
that The Holidays officially begin!

So much fun. I wish Grandma Sue could have gone along with them. She would have had trouble walking through the deep snow but she is an expert at decorating Christmas Trees. I guess she stayed home to bake Christmas cookies. Love to see The Heartfelts adventures!!!
